Rezente Arten
Haplothrips (Trybomiella) robustus
Biologie und Verbreitung
Beschrieben aus Adelaide, Süd-Australien an Acacia myrtifolia und Epachris impressa (H. robustus) und aus Blüten von Mesembryanthemum (H. melanoceratus); H. sesuvii aus Java, Indonesien aus Blüten von Sesuvium portulacastrum.
Verbreitung: Weit verbreitet im östlichen Australien. Verschleppt nach Indonesien, den Neuen Hebriden, Hawaii, Süd-Kalifornien und den Kap Verden (Ulitzka unveröffentlicht).
Männchen bisher unbekannt.
