Beschrieben aus Florida USA (A. dozieri<\/i>), Barbados (A. gowdeyi<\/i>), Hawaii USA (A. usitatus<\/i>), Kuba (A. variabilis<\/i>), Kenia (H. brevicollis<\/i>), Tansania (H. karnyi<\/i>), Sri Lanka (H. soror, H. sororcula<\/i>) und von den Seychellen (H. mahensis<\/i>).<\/p>\n

Verbreitung: Weit verbreitet und h\u00e4ufig in subtropischen und tropischen L\u00e4ndern.\u00a0Nachweise aber auch aus Japan. Vermutlich stammt die Art aus dem tropischen Afrika; M\u00e4nnchen wurden bisher nur dort nachgewiesen.<\/p>\n

Vorkommen: Auf vielen unterschiedlichen Pflanzen, v.a. in Bl\u00fcten, aber auch an Gr\u00e4sern. Ob die Art sich teilweise zoophag ern\u00e4hrt ist nicht eindeutig gekl\u00e4rt.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator css=“.vc_custom_1485688878698{padding-top: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}“][vc_column_text]Literatur<\/strong><\/p>\n
