Sie ist aus Korea, China, Taiwan, Malaysia und Japan bekannt, wurde aber durch den Pflanzenhandel nach Nordaustralien, Hawaii und Kalifornien (USA) verschleppt. In Europa wurde <em>Taeniothrips eucharii<\/em> in den Niederlanden erfasst, sowie zweimal in Deutschland (in Nordrhein-Westfalen und Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, Ulitzka unver\u00f6ffentlicht).<br \/>\n<em>Taeniothrips eucharii<\/em> lebt auf Bl\u00e4ttern aber auch auf Zwiebeln und in Bl\u00fcten verschiedener Lilien- und Amaryllisgew\u00e4chse wie <em>Crinum<\/em>, <em>Eucharis<\/em>, <em>Hymenocallis<\/em>, <em>Liriope<\/em>, <em>Lycoris<\/em>, <em>Narcissus <\/em>und\u00a0<em>Zephyranthes<\/em>.
