Described from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from Vanda joaquim<\/i>. Recorded (in the open) from Fiji, Hawaii, Indonesia, India, northern Australia, Philippines, Samoa, Singapur, Taiwan and Thailand.<\/p>\n

Distribution: Originated from South East Asia, D. corbetti <\/em>was introduced by plant trade in many other regions.<\/em> In Europe this species has been recorded occasionally under glass, but the evidence suggests isolated incursions rather than continual presence; reported from Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Netherlands, Slovakia and Hungary.
\nFeeding and breeding on leaves, and sometimes causing damage to the flowers of Orchidaceae species in several genera (Vanda<\/em>, Phalaenopsis<\/em>, Cattleya<\/em>, etc.).<\/p>\n
