Described from Great Britain (T. subaptera<\/em>) and Rytro, Galicia, Poland (P. phaeoptera<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Distribution: Widespread, but only locally found in Central and Eastern Europe as well as in parts of Scandinavia; introduced into North America. Tmetothrips subapterus<\/em> is found in grasslands on leaves of Cerastium<\/em>, Stellaria<\/em> [Caryophylaceae] and Galium<\/em> [Rubiaceae].
