Biology and distribution

Described from Finland.

Distribution: Originally Palearctic, A. stylifer has been introduced to many regions; nowadays Holarctic, mainly in the temperate regions. Recorded in mountainous areas in altitudes of up to 3.800m. Living on many different grasses (Gramineae).
