Biology and distribution

Described from the Czech Republic (B. jordani) and Germany (T. incompletus).

Distribution: Widespread across Europe, but so far without any records from the Iberian Peninsula.
Bolacothrips jordani lives in leaf sheaths and on young shoots of various grasses, particularly on Alopecurus, Calamagrostis, Dactylis glomerata.
