Chaetanaphothrips orchidii
Biology and distribution
Described from Java, Indonesia in leaf rolls of Elatostemma sesquifolium (E. marginemtorquens) and California USA (E. orchidii). Recorded from Japan. Widespread around the world. In Europe usually only in greenhouses; however, since 2016 reported as a pest on Citrus.
Pest species infesting the leaves of many different plants.
