Biology and distribution

Described from Poland (D. schillei), Czech Republic (D. tiliae) and Hungary (T. ornatus).

Distribution: Europe, Asian parts of Russia, China (Inner Mongolia), introduced to North America.
Living on the leaves of Fraxinus, Ligustrum, Syringa, as well as Alnus, Corylus and Tilia.
