Haplothrips (Trybomiella) robustus
Biology and distribution
Described from Adelaide, Australia on Acacia myrtifolia and Epachris impressa (H. robustus) and from Mesembryanthemum flowers (H. melanoceratus); H. sesuvii from Java, Indonesia from flowers of Sesuvium portulacastrum.
Distribution: Widespread in Eastern Australia. Introduced into Indonesia, the New Hebrides, Hawaii, South California and Cape Verde (Ulitzka unpublished).
Males unknown.
