Biology and distribution
Described from Dallas, Texas, USA from cotton and food plants.
Distribution: Eastern North America including Georgia, Florida, Mexico and Californien; recorded from Hawaii and Palmyra-Atoll.
Cercis canadensis (Caesalpiniaceae) was mentioned as a possible host plant. This species, however, is found on the leaves of many different plants.
