Biology and distribution

Described from Poland (L. angulicornis), Sardinia, Italy (L. adusta) and California, USA (L. setariae).

Distribution: Limothrips angulicornis is found throughout the western Palearctic, however, it is locally spread only and not very common. This thrips rather prefers warm areas.
Limothrips angulicornis lives and breeds on gramineae (especially on Hordeum).
