Merothrips brunneus
Biology and distribution
Described from New Zealand.
Distribution: Widespread and common in New Zealand and Australia; also recorded in Costa Rica and Europe (Hastings, Great Britain and Guernsey; Ulitzka unpublished). Merothrips brunneus is found on dead wood and in grass tussocks.
