Merothrips fusciceps
Biology and distribution
Described from Louisiana USA (M. fusciceps) and Trinidad (M. cognatus), this species has also been taken in Brazil and it is known from one find in Colombian copal (Ulitzka unpublished).
Associated with fungi on dead branches.
