Prosopothrips vejdovskyi
Biology and distribution
Described from former Czechoslovakia.
Distribution: Western Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, eastern Central Europe, Norway and Spain; also found in Alpine regions (up to 2300m) and in the Balkans. Prosopothrips vejdovskyi a rarely collected species found mainly in wooded areas on various plants in short-growing vegetation and under leaf rosettes.

Holotype: Unknown; possibly stored at the National Museum, Prague (formerly: Bohemian National Museum).
