Sophiothrips terminalis
Biology and distribution
Described from Tamaris, France from Erica arborea.
Distribution: Sophiothrips terminalis is known from France, Italy and Spain. Furthermore, it has been recorded in Germany and Georgia (Ulitzka unpublished).
Sophiothrips terminalis is a fungus feeder on dead branches; it has frequently been reported from oaks.
