Stephanothrips japonicus
Biology and distribution
Described from Ise-Shi, Mie-ken, Japan from moss. Recorded from Taiwan and China. Occurs in leaf litter and grass tussocks. Fungus-feeder. Introduced into the USA, Georgia (Diffie et al. 2008) and Mississippi (Ulitzka unpublished).
