Biology and distribution
This specimen cannot be further identified. The habitus and the pointed wing tips indicate that it might belong most likely to the family Thripidae.
Distribution: This fossil comes from the Eocene deposits of the Green River Formation, Parachute Creek Member, Douglas Pass, Colorado USA.
