Biology and distribution

Described from Hungary.

Distribution: Reported from Scandinavia and Great Britain, as well as from a belt of countries across Central Europe ranging from the Netherlands to Bulgaria. Thrips linariae is monophagous on the flowers of toadflax (Linaria vulgaris, Plantaginaceae).
