Biology and distribution
Described from England (T. discolor, T. pallens) and New York, USA (T. nubilans).
Distribution: Today Holarctic in distribution. Originally from Europe, excluding France and the Iberian Peninsula; introduced to North America.
This species occurs in grassy habitats and meadows, mainly on the leaves of Ranunculus repens [Ranunculaceae].
