Biology and distribution
Described from England (S. gracilicornis) and Konuma, Saghalien, Japan from clover and meadow grasses (T. karafutensis).
Distribution: Palearctic, from Japan, China and Siberia over Europe to Spain, also Morocco. Preferably in warmer places. This species is mainly found on Vicia sp., particularly on Vicia cracca; occasionally also on leaves of deciduous trees.
