Biology and distribution
Described from England (P. coriaceus), Finland (P. simillima) and Austria (P. ulmi).
Distribution: Widespread across Europa to Iran and across North America.
Breeding on dead branches and tree trunks of various angiosperm trees, and presumably feeding on fungal hyphae.
