Stenchaetothrips pleioblasti
Biology and distribution
Described from Honshu (Kanagawa Pref., Yokosuka City, Kannonzaki), Japan; from leaves of Pleioblastus chino (Poaceae).
Distribution: Japan (Honshu, Ogasawara, Kyoto); also reported from Hungary (Gödöllő, Szada from leaves of Phyllostachys vivax [Poaceae]).
Stenchaetothrips pleioblasti is living and breeding on Gramineae but has been recorded also on other plants (Cyperaceae, Asteraceae, Cornaceae, etc.).
