Thrips sambuci
Biology and distribution
Described from Austria (T. sambuci) and England from Sambucus nigra (T. nigra).
Distribution: Widespread in Europe.
Thrips sambuci is living and breeding on Sambucus nigra and S. racemosa (Adoxaceae). Adults and larvae are found on the leaves of the host plant, preferably on the underside of the leaf.
