Biologie und Verbreitung
Beschrieben aus Grönland (A. groenlandica), Österreich (A. intermedius), der Tschechischen Republik (A. connaticornis) und aus England von Gräsern (T. rufus), von Plantago maritima? (T. nitidulus) und von Seegras (U. lubbocki).
Verbreitung: Kosmopolit, bis in Höhenlagen von mehr als 3.300m. Auf diversen Gräsern (Poaceae) einschließlich Getreide.
Tiere aus Populationen in Strandnähe (Geest, Salzmarschen) oft braun (f. nitidula). Fühlerglied VI bei Individuen aus Südeuropa oft mit zwei Quernähten, Fühler dadurch 8-gliedrig erscheinend (f. styligera)
