Biologie und Verbreitung
Beschrieben aus Albanien (H. trifolii), Russland (P. armatus), Finnland (P. obscuricornis), Österreich (T. leucanthemi), Rumänien (H. scythicus) sowie Iowa USA (H. trifolii) und Wyoming USA (Z. wyomingensis).
Verbreitung: Weit verbreitet über ganz Europa bis zum Iran und über nördliche Teile der USA, mit Nachweisen auch aus Kalifornien; verschleppt nach Neuseeland und in das südliche Australien. Einzelne Nachweise liegen auch aus Chile und Argentinien vor.
Die Art ist insbesondere an Asteraceen (v.a. Leucanthemum vulgare) zu finden. Hier tritt sie auch in zweigeschlechtlichen Populationen auf. An anderen Pflanzen, z.B. an Trifolium pratense (Fabaceae) oder Plantago sp. (Plantaginaceae), treten ausschließlich eingeschlechtlich weibliche Populationen auf.
