Leucothrips piercei
Biologie und Verbreitung
Beschrieben aus Dallas, Texas, USA an Blättern von Baumwolle.
Verbreitung: Östliches Nordamerika einschließlich Georgia, Florida, Mexiko und Kalifornien; auch auf Hawaii und dem Palmyra-Atoll nachgewiesen.
Als Wirtspflanze wurde Cercis canadensis (Caesalpiniaceae) angegeben, die Art kommt aber auch an vielen anderen Pflanzen vor.
