Biologie und Verbreitung
Beschrieben aus England von Ulex europaea.
Verbreitung: England und Frankreich. Monophag an Blättern von Ginsterarten (Ulex, besonders Ulex europaeus; Fabaceae). Frühere Meldungen aus der Literatur aus anderen europäischen Ländern bedürfen der Nachprüfung!
Eingeführt nach Australien (Südaustralien, Victoria & Tasmanien), nach Neuseeland und nach Hawaii zur biologischen Bekämpfung der Wirtspflanze (Ulex) (Ireson et. al 2008).
