Biologie und Verbreitung
Beschrieben aus England (C. melaleuca), Österreich (A. fasciata var. conjunctus und A. adusta), USA, Maryland (A. annectans) und aus der Mandschurei, Ourga Tsitsikhar (A. uzeli).
Verbreitung: Holarktisch.
Aeolothrips fasciatus ernährt sich zoophag von kleinen Arthropoden wie Milben und Thripslarven. Die Art lebt an den Blüten und Blättern sommergrüner Laubgehölze; häufig an Crataegus, Fraxinus, Ligustrum, Quercus, Sambucus und Sorbus.
