Biologie und Verbreitung

Beschrieben aus England (P. coriaceus), Finnland (P. simillima) und Österreich (P. ulmi).

Verbreitung: Weit verbreitet über ganz Europa bis zum Iran und über Nord-Amerika
Die Art lebt am Totholz von verholzten Angiospermen und ernährt sich sehr wahrscheinlich durch Saugen an Pilzhyphen.
